Objective: Participants will be able to identify their customers, understand their customers’ needs and expectations, identify methods of obtaining customers’ feedback, and utilize customer feedback to make improvements that will positively impact their customers’ satisfaction.

10:30 a.m. - Are You Smarter Than a Mashed Potato?
Michael Duncan, Healthcare Specialist, Merchants Foodservice and graduate of Johnson & Wales Culinary School

Objective: Participants will be able to utilize fresh products and eliminate pre-prepared items where possible; cross-utilize products to eliminate waste and maximize storage space; enhance current menu items, change flavor profiles, and present products in more appetizing ways; and add new “not so commonly” used items to their menus.
